A letters patent dated the twelfth day of the sixth month of the second year of the reign of Queen Ann.
It is in a painted and gilded frame and glazed with ultraviolet filter glass. This frame is mounted on a blue velvet ground with the wax seal below and the skippet, complete with original wrapping paper, on one side and the lid on the other. This is all housed in an outer frame of gilded metal leaf and hand-laid French polished oak burr veneer.
The overall size is 73 x 67 cms.
