Paul Finn was born in West Yorkshire, and studied at Ravensbourne School of Art and then The Slade School of Art. After graduating he was appointed 10th Brinkley Fellow at Norwich University of the Arts. Since then he has worked as a painter and a teacher. For the last 4 years he has been a full time painter. He has exhibited widely and has won bursaries to exhibit work with the British Council in Europe and South East Asia. Exhibitions include, Young Contemporaries, Hayward Annual, Gainsborough’s House (Prizewinner), Whitechapel Open, Russell Coates Museum, New English Art Club, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, and The London Group Open. In 2017 he was invited to join the Arborealist Group, and has exhibited at Flatford, the birthplace of John Constable. He has work in collections in Europe, the Far East and the USA.
