A Persian antique silver necklace and brooch displayed on a silk-covered mount in a silver frame.  The frame was made from three component mouldings and applied with gesso and blue bole, then water gilded with silver leaf.  It was glazed with UV filter glass raised above the jewellery with fillets.  The frame measures 53 x 52 cms.
