A wood-block print in a flat moulding with a painted slip to lift the glass.  The frame has been gessoed, painted with a black bole, and water gilded with 22 carat gold leaf.  The leaf was first cut into small squares then laid overlapping to produce a grid effect.

The frame measures 40 x 30 cms.
