An oil painting on canvas by Childe Hassam.  It is set into a grey painted tray-frame to reveal the edges of the canvas, then framed in a Whistler frame with inner and outer reeded mouldings.  The frame was water-gilded with 22 carat gold leaf on red bole on gesso.

It measures 100 x 85 cms overall.
