Conway Castle, a charcoal drawing by David Cox in a simple mount with an unburnished water gilded frame.  The frame, made with a moulding exclusive to The Rowley Gallery, was first gessoed then painted with black bole and gilded with 22 carat gold leaf.  It measures 88 x 60 cms.
